VKS PepperBall, a division of United Tactical Systems LLC, has introduced its nextgeneration less-lethal system. Called “VKS”, for “Variable Kinetic Speed,” it provides multi-mission capability and variable payloads in a single M4-styled platform. Projectiles deployed with the VKS have a variable kinetic impact of between 13 and 30 Joules with extended range and precision accuracy. Target accuracy is 120 feet utilizing PepperBall’s patented VXR fin-stabilized projectiles, with area saturation available to over 200 feet. The VKS comes standard with a Picatinny rail mount to allow for easy mounting of optional tactical lights, laser sights, optics, or cameras.

C50™ CBRN Mask The Avon C50 protective mask is based on the U.S. M50/ JSGPM (Joint Services General Purpose Mask) and sharing key technologies, provides maximum operational flexibility to counter multiple threat scenarios, including chemical, biological, nuclear and radiological (CBRN) agents, Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs), and Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMs). Available in three (3) sizes for ideal fit and comfort, the C50 features a panoramic flexible visor that is optically correct across the entire field of view, an Electronic Communication Port for enhanced voice projection and radio integration, a high flow, fail-safe drinking device for hydration, a low profile, close contour brow that offers compatibility with helmets, CBRN protective clothing, and NFPA Class 3 Suits, and an air flow system that prevents fogging. Additionally, a twin-port design accepts both traditional and lower profile conformal filters, while a Canister Mount Plug Tool allows for filter placement on either side to accommodate both left hand and right hand shooters.
