Letter from Tom Sloan, LMH Health Board of Trustees
Dear neighbors,
Despite another challenging year, our LMH Health physicians, providers and staff continued to provide the highest quality healthcare for our patients and community As we look back on 2022, we also look ahead to 2023, which will see LMH expanding services close to home, increasing access in primary care clinics throughout the area, and continuing to grow an exceptional team of clinicians dedicated to being “A Partner for Lifelong Health ”
Throughout the coming year, you will see increased efforts to control patient costs while growing access to patient-centered technology and expanded diagnostic services Both are vital to our continuation to be an independent, community hospital that you can trust for your healthcare needs
The year ahead will also see LMH Health bring new specialty services closer to home through a strategic clinical relationship with the University of Kansas Health System (TUKHS) This agreement is the result of more than a year and a half of physician-led, patient-centered conversations . It will bring expanded healthcare services to our community, while maintaining more than a century of independence for your community hospital
Challenges will still abound this year However, we will continue to deliver the best care for our patients while creating new possibilities Thanks to our healthcare providers and staff, LMH Health will remain a strong, independent hospital ready to meet your needs and exceed your expectations .
