SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY’S SCHOOL OF LAW, in conjunction with the JOHN COOK SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, offers a 3+3 combined bachelor’s degree and law degree. The 3+3 SLU LAW Program allows students to earn a bachelor of science in business administration and a Juris Doctor degree in six years instead of the traditional seven years. Benefits include recommended course selections, guaranteed acceptance to SLU LAW and a seamless academic pathway to a J.D. degree upon completion of all BS/JD 3+3 Accelerated Program requirements.

FAST-TRACK YOUR PATH TO A LAW DEGREE AT SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY Students in the 3+3 program spend their first three years at SLU’s John Cook School of Business following specific undergraduate 3+3 curriculum prescribed by their area of business. The 3+3 students apply for law school during their third year of undergraduate coursework. When applying to law school, 3+3 applicants follow the same application process as all other full-time J.D. applicants.*

TO QUALIFY, STUDENTS MUST: • have a minimum 30 ACT or 1330 SAT • have a minimum 3.75 high school GPA • complete a SLU LAW application for admission during their third year of undergraduate coursework, this includes submitting an LSAT score** • earn a SLU undergraduate GPA of at least 3.7 at the time of application to SLU LAW as a condition of receiving guaranteed admission

Earn a Bachelor’s in BUSINESS in Three Years … The SLU 3+3 Law Program condenses the University’s highly ranked business administration program into three years without sacrificing the freedom for students to customize their education, allowing room for electives and a concentration within the major. The sample curriculum below is intended to give prospective 3+3 students a preview of what a typical accelerated course schedule of 120 credit hours could look like. Classes labeled “concentration” represent the upper-level courses for a student’s respective focus within business administration.

SLU LAW offers a diverse curriculum designed to prepare students for success in all areas of legal practice. After completing the required core first-year classes, students select courses ranging from traditional bar preparation to highly specialized legal topics to supervised clinical practices. They can also take advantage of opportunities for participating in student-run law journals and developing critical legal skills, such as appellate advocacy, trial practice and client counseling.
