At the School for Professional Studies, we believe you should earn credit for what you’ve already learned including your military training. We now provide several options for our adult students to receive credit for prior learning from the following areas: • Transfer credits from other accredited institutions • College Level Examination Program (CLEP) testing • DSST testing (formerly DANTES testing) • Industry certifications with an external accreditor (such as an association or agency) in which the certification is received upon successful completion of a test • Credit that is approved by the American Council of Education (ACE)

NEW FOR 2015 B.S. in Security and Strategic Intelligence This innovative major provides the fundamental knowledge and skills of security, intelligence and computer information systems necessary to pursue a career in this growing market. You can choose from one of four tracks: global corporate security, strategic intelligence, law enforcement administration or business continuity. Helicopter Pilot Preparation Now you can train to become a helicopter pilot while earning your degree. In partnership with Midwest Helicopter, Saint Louis University is now offering courses that will prepare you to complete the FAA helicopter flight certification. SLU is the only four-year Jesuit university with this rotary wing program. LEARN MORE Undergraduate Admission Requirements for SPS The application for admission can be completed online and there is no fee to submit your application. • Age: 22 years or older (exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis) • Work experience: at least three years or the equivalent • Education: high school diploma or composite GED score of at least 2250 • Interview: successful completion of an admission meeting (over the phone or on campus) with an admission counselor • GPA: minimum transfer cumulative GPA of 2.5 (unless qualified for conditional admittance)
