This spotlight features an innovative design with soft, continuous lines. Suited to any type of space in which the use of light is an important factor, it offers great flexibility in terms of its application, thanks to the many light sources, optical reflectors and accessories (such as coloured and multicoloured filters, lenses and anti-glare screens of various types) used in conjunction with it. It offers easy, safe and instant operation, as the lamp can be replaced and the graduated locking device set without using any mechanical tools.

The extreme versatility of Mickey makes it suitable for any application: showrooms, shops, shopping centres, exhibition spaces, work environments and museums. Mickey was created with the specific aim of using integrated electronic control gear across the entire range. To this end, a special compartmentalisation system was designed and patented so as to allow the electronic control gear unit to operate at a Tc temperature within the limits specified for the components.

Position adjustment The fixture is equipped with a position locking device for the vertical axis and for the horizontal axis: whenever necessary, the spotlight can be locked in a specific direction, thus preventing accidental movement and the loss of its initial position. This function is indispensable for museums, art galleries and technical applications where the position of the spotlight is set by professionals and should not be changed.
Heat containment In addition to the traditional slits, in order to create an optimal heat exchange an air space was left between the lamp compartment and the body of the spotlight (green ring); in practice this is a real air chamber which dynamically collects the heat generated by the light source and channels it outside. The recirculation of air for cooling purposes takes place continuously during operation in any position. A few specific technical solutions have been adopted so that the temperature of the central body in an aluminium alloy is such that it can be held while it is being locked into position (during ignition); no metal part brings the lamp compartment into contact with the outer body.

Accessories Interchangeable reflectors and accessories, which are easy to replace, can be used to adapt the spotlight to any new lighting requirements which may arise, moving from diffused filler light to concentrated accent lighting, or vice-versa.

The Mickey spotlight is supplied with an adapter for Euro Standard tracks. The limited product weight (even in its largest size) means a normal-sized adapter can be used, thereby ensuring the appearance of the product remains unaffected and making it suitable for use in any context. Its extreme lightness also means the 90 and 140 versions can be fitted to a horizontal or vertical track, using the special stop point accessory. Body Available in three sizes, the spotlight consists of an extruded aluminium component which then undergoes mechanical processing; it also has two caps (front and rear) and a PPS plastic frontal ring made to withstand high temperatures, onto which the optics are fitted. This product is used in high-ceilinged spaces where light needs to be focussed in specific directions. The visual impact is excellent, due to its extreme lightness; moreover the droplight, which allows perfect direction adjustment, is almost invisible. The droplight, which has three suspension cables, ensures the fixture will not move from its set position, even if it is placed in a draught or near climate control units.
