Letchworth & Baldock District Scout Council

Co-ordinator 10 and 11 June 2017 at Boyd Field, Henlow

Over four hundred young people and Leaders enjoyed the activities laid on by the District at Boyd Field in Henlow over a weekend in June. On the Saturday the campsite was over run by Beavers and Scouts. On Sunday it was the turn of the Cubs and Explorer Scouts.

Activities included: - Climbing wall, rafting, shooting, inflatables, go-karting, rocket launching, crafts and toasting marshmallows and dampers. Codicote Reptiles - Matt and Jade brought along some of their reptile friends to meet the young people. This included snakes and lizards. They are available for educational visits. I really liked the fun day, particularly holding the snakes. They were called Boris, King Geoff the First and Poppy. My favourite was Boris who I got to hold a lot. I also liked the sumo wrestling because No: 649
