Lancaster Catholic High School

Lancaster Catholic High School has invested in the minds and hearts of young people for ninety-five years. The impact of this investment has shaped every industry in Lancaster County and beyond – from business to medicine to the arts to infrastructure. A Lancaster Catholic education is college-preparatory, laying the groundwork for post-secondary studies, while challenging students to grow in areas beyond academics as well. Standing on the shoulders of previous generations, Lancaster Catholic continues to work with students to discover their unique, God-given gifts, provide opportunities for those gifts to be refined, and empower students to then use their gifts in service to the larger community. Something truly special happens at Lancaster Catholic High School! Every Crusader has a unique story to share – one that includes challenge and opportunity, faculty and staff members who went above and beyond, setbacks and comebacks, and above all, a pursuit of truth, goodness and excellence. Ask our students, parents, and alumni to share their stories and imagine what is possible for your child’s future.

“Lancaster Catholic High School has challenged our children academically, fed them spiritually and supported them emotionally. ” ~ Dr. Paul and Tracy Caroll - Parents ‘13, ‘14, ‘25

the future

Being a part of the Catholic High community is being a part of something larger than you. In 1928 Lancaster Catholic High School made a commitment to Lancaster County believing that a Catholic education would significantly affect the lives of the young men and women that live here. That same commitment exists today. The Crusader family is a 95-year tradition of young people learning to become faith-filled leaders inside the historic halls at 650 Juliette Avenue. There are over ten thousand people living throughout the world who have been educated at Lancaster Catholic High School. They represented a diverse group when they were students, and today, they are successful professionals, skilled craftsmen, businessmen and women, Sisters, Brothers, priests and parents. We are proud of the contributions they have made to the communities in which they live and of the lives that they lead.

Thanks to overwhelming community support and Crusaders pride the future of LCHS looks bright. A significant update and transformation of our historic hallways began last year with the STEM Innovation Center on the top floor of Reilly Hall. The next phase of renovations and additions for our Crusaders, a new auditorium, student-commons and collegiate-style cafeteria, begins this academic year. 1966: New addition is added that included chapel, library, 2021: STEM Innovation Center 1928: Construction began on 1954: Reilly Hall addition LCHS “Old Main” building expands Lancaster Catholic cafeteria & Berger Gymnasium renovation is completed

1929: Cornerstone laid & blessed by Bishop McDevitt
