Tickets are $20 for a Single Viewer & $40 for a Family Viewing. Proceeds will benefit the LCHS Fine & Performing Arts Department. Click here to purchase your Digital Tickets to watch The Little Mermaid. An Honest Review By Mrs. Nicole Martin If you have a minute to listen to me gush about this year’s musical- thank you for reading this. I am not just writing as a proud parent, but more so as an observer. However, as a parent, I know the behind the scenes effort that begins even before December, and this year the anxiety that has hovered over all our actions this year living in the midst of COVID. Will the show go on or could it be cancelled. Can everyone remain healthy etc. If you haven’t purchased a ticket, I encourage you to do so! What will you witness? Well, if Disney is your thing, you will know the show! But even more I believe you will see a foretaste of Heaven. I do not say that lightly. Here’s why. In this production EVERYONE is represented, there are freshmen through seniors. Musicians, artists, loners, athletes, scholars, not so scholars, breaking out of stereotypical roles they may have been labeled by. You won’t see “students”, You will see people ; beautiful talented souls growing in their God given talents. Finding their talents. And expressing real JOY with each other. You will witness COOPERATION. You will witness HOPE that cooperation on a larger scale is a REAL POSSIBILITY in our world. You will witness everyone doing their part for the GREATER GOOD, without the desire for individual credit, recognizing every person is VITAL. You will have a smile that grows on your face and in your heart, I promise.
