Exciting Changes in the Admissions Office & A Message from Kyla Hockley Dear Families, In what has been a spring filled with change, we wanted to share with you an exciting change coming to the Admissions Office at Lancaster Catholic. As of July 1st, I will be leaving Lancaster Catholic to serve as the Principal at St. John Neumann Catholic School (formerly St. Anne School). I am excited to announce that Angela Baumler, LCHS Class of ‘97, will be taking my place. Angela has spent the last 17 years working in Catholic school admissions at both the college and high school level in the Baltimore area. Her energy rivals mine and she brings with her professional skills that will take Lancaster Catholic to the next level! I have every confidence that you are in good hands with Angela! Should you need to reach out, please email her at abaumler@lchsyes.org. Thank you for allowing me to walk with your family on this journey! You remain in my prayers! Peace & blessings, Kyla

Board Member Retires On June 30, 2020, Jim Miklos ended his 3 year term on the LCHS Board of Directors. With his experience in marketing, fundraising, and advancement, Jim was a great asset to the Board Marketing committee. Jim is the owner and President of Prestige Color, Inc and Jim & Laura’s four children are graduates of LCHS. The Miklos family support of Catholic education is very obvious and can be summed up in this statement from their children. “Thank you, Dad & Mom, for not only allowing us to benefit from the blessing of our Lancaster Catholic High School education, but all the current and future Crusaders as well! We love you!” On behalf of the Board of LCHS, thank you Jim for your service to LCHS. You have left a tremendous legacy and your presence will always be felt in the hallways of LCHS.

Class of 2021
Please update your Naviance resume! Remember, your login to Naviance is not your email address, it is year of graduation, first initial of your first name and your full last name. For example: 21jgrosh. Your password was updated in January. If you have forgotten your password, please send an email to jgroash@lchsyes.org or rgrasa@lchsyes.org so that we may reset it. After that, you will receive an email from Naviance to set a new password. Many rising seniors are asking, “Do we need to take an SAT or ACT? Honestly, many colleges (including Harvard) are test optional which means they will evaluate students by other methods and there may be documents you will have to submit; every college is different. Make sure if you are not taking any standardized tests that it will not affect financial aid awards such as scholarships you may be eligible for based upon your SAT/ACT score. Sophomore and Junior Students: LCHS will be administering the PSAT on October 14, 2020. Sign up and payment information will be forthcoming in August.
