Crusader Connection You Did It! Happy Last Day of School! As soon as the County stay at home order is lifted, we will establish and communicate a schedule for returning school materials and gathering personal items. So don’t shut down the computer and ignore our emails! While the second half of the school year was a different journey than planned, we are so proud of our Crusaders (both our students and parents). You did remarkably well these last few months! Congratulations on all of your hardwork and determination. Graduation will be held during the week of July 12th for the Class of 2020 at the Crusader Stadium, the 1st outdoor graduation in years for Lancaster Catholic. We hope everyone has a happy and healthy summer and we hope to see everyone soon!

Yearbooks make a great way to remember the school year and can be a great gift for the senior in your life. The last day to get your yearbook is June 1st and yearbooks will be distributed will be in August.
Summer Reading List The English and Theology Departments have released the 2020-21 School Year Summer Reading list! The reading list can be found by clicking here or on the student tab on Lancaster Catholic’s website.

Enrollment Agreements We have been issuing Enrollment Agreements since the beginning of April. Enrollment agreements were due May 1, 2020. We are saving your students’ place for the 2020-2021 school year, but need to know your intentions. Please return your agreement or contact Lisa Garrner at lgarner@lchsyes.org with any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing your student in the upcoming year!
Lunchtime Update Online Payments with LunchTime are turned off and will be turned back on 7/1/2020. If you wish to make a tuition, registration or technology payment using your credit card you must use LunchTime. If paying through LunchTime is your intention, we will extend the due date to July 3. Lancaster Catholic Athletics Does your child want to play a sport next school year? Please complete the Sports Registration form to let us know which sport(s) your child would like to sign up for. This will be used by the Athletic Office for the 202021 school year! Only enter sports that your son/daughter will be playing at Lancaster Catholic. School Counseling Corner AP Technical Issues AP exams started last week and so have some technical issues. If you have experienced a problem submitting your exam answers, please request a makeup exam. Don’t worry! You can complete this form to report the problem and request a makeup exam. The link will take you to: http://cb.org/requestmakeup Just for Juniors Wondering when the next SAT or ACT will be? The short answer is, we don’t know. Both testing organizations are investigating virtual testing opportunities for the fall. What that means to you is that any exams scheduled for June or August will not happen. We will update juniors as soon as we are contacted, however, for immediate information, please familiarize yourselves with both websites: SAT - www.collegeboard.org and ACT - www.act.org If you will be in need of a fee waiver for these tests, please contact Mrs. Grosh: jgrosh@lchsyes.org to process that. Seniors!!!! You won’t want to miss this! The Lancaster Sunrise Rotary was in touch this week and they will continue to offer the Culliton Scholarships! These are $2,000 and three students will receive them. You must be a good student, accepted to college for fall, 2020 and demonstrate financial need. Please download the application from Naviance and send to Mrs. Grosh when complete no later than June 15, 2020. From there, the Rotary will select winners and they will be announced at graduation in July. Taking a course in the summer will require a lot of work to complete before the due date. Job Opportunities at LCHS Director of Enrollment Management Lancaster Catholic High School seeks a practicing Catholic to serve as our next Director of Enrollment Management to develop and implement a comprehensive and effective program that recruits, selects, and enrolls mission-appropriate students. Reporting directly to and collaborating with the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communication, the Director will oversee the admissions operation and serve as a primary external representative of LCHS in recruiting events in key markets and in making presentations to alumni and other school constituents. He/ she will assist the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communication in developing a data-driven, effective strategy that succeeds in achieving the School’s annual enrollment goals. The Director will develop and conduct admissions events, respond to admissions inquiries, interview and provide ongoing counsel to prospective families and students regarding the admissions process and review applications. He/she will manage the admissions office and programs, including developing/updating content for electronic and print communications. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of successful professional experience in sales or school admissions; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; superior interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; and proficiency in basic customer relations management systems and computer applications. Minimum qualifications include a PA secondary certification (or equivalent) in Spanish and appropriate clearances. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Spanish, and experience teaching Spanish at the high school level. A pastor’s recommendation will be required.
