FBLA State Results Lancaster Catholic’s received a top ten finish in the Future Business Leaders of America State Conference. The Business Ethics team composed of Chris Martin, Daniel Baksh and Liam Badger finished 8th overall, however, only the top four teams advance to nationals in San Antonio.

Grandparents’ Day at Lancaster Catholic On Tuesday, April 23rd, Grandparents’ Day will be held at Lancaster Catholic High School from 8 AM to 11:15 AM. Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria with entertainment by students in Fine & Performing Arts. Mass will begin at 9:30 and conclude around 11. Students will have the opportunity to sit with their grandparents at Mass. Grandparents can park at the school while students are asked to park at the Crusader Stadium.
Prom Tickets are On Sale “Once Upon a Prom” Friday, May 3rd, 2019 5-10 PM Eden Resort Prom tickets for Junior and Senior students are on sale for $60. Tickets can be purchased online at www.lchsyes.org/prom/ with either a credit/debit option or cash/check option and are available until Monday, April 22nd. Cash/Check payments can be turned into Mrs. Hockley. Guest forms can also be found online.
Veterans’ Victory House Wish List Varsity Club will be collecting the following items for the Veterans’ Victory House until May 1st. Director Veterans’ Victory House, Doug Hopwood, will come to address our dedicated club and pick the donated items up on May 7th. Nacel Open Door international students who would like to attend LCHS for the upcoming school year 2019-20. These F-1 Visa students speak English, have their own travel health insurance, and bring their own pocket money for personal expenses. Host families provide room and board and receive a generous, monthly hosting stipend. May Day is coming and we need your help! You’ve been hearing and seeing a lot about May Day recently on a variety of social media outlets. The memories made here at LCHS are the result of hard work and dedication along with the many generous donors who support Catholic High and Catholic education! But we need YOUR help! Beginning with the Crusader Periods (11 a.m.) on both Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2 we need your assistance in following up with our supporters to say Thank you! for their May Day contributions. Calls will be made throughout the day beginning at 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, and resume on Thursday, May 2 at 11 a.m. through the end of the school day (3 p.m.). Lancaster Catholic High School Aevidum will present Food Truck Festival, taking place at LCHS Stadium on Friday, April 26 from 5-8:00 p.m. The Food Truck Festival will feature 717 Taco, Dougheads Stuffed Waffles, Sittin Pickin Chicken, Buzz Rock n’ Roll Delicatessan, and Scoops. The Festival will feature corn hole and ladder ball, hair braiding, face painting and live music. MC’s from our Broadcasting Team, Herbie the Love Bug, and appearances from other special guests. The culmination of the Festival will include the revealing of our “Chain Reaction,” a paper chain that will stretch from end zone to end zone and represent good deeds completed by our faculty, staff, student body, and guests at the festival. In fulfilling the mission of Aevidum, the Festival was created to raise awareness for teen depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention. Informational materials and merchandise will be distributed during the Festival.

Mrs. Nakia Eckert from HACC was at LCHS on Wednesday of this week to distribute applications to all students who wish to take HACC classes next year for credit at LCHS. All applications are due no later than Friday, April 12, 2019 to Mrs. Carr. No exceptions will be made if you miss this deadline! Seniors - May 1st is right around the corner and you will need to decide which college you will be attending in the fall. Please do not miss this deadline as you may forfeit your admission to the college or university of your choice! Report Cards - Third Quarter report cards were emailed to all parents on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. If you have not received your child's report, please contact Mrs. Grosh (jgrosh@lchsyes.org) Summer School - options are available in the School Counseling Office for students who need to recover credit(s) or wish to take enrichment classes to move ahead next year.
