It’s the Final Countdown! With under 2 days to go, the Mini-THON teams are ready to raise funds in the hopes of one day eliminating childhood cancer. During the 12 hours of Mini-THON, hundreds of Lancaster Catholic students will stand for the whole event in celebration of the commitment and hard work they have shown through raising money for the Four Diamonds Fund. If your student has not signed up as a dancer for Mini-THON and they wish to participate, please click here to register.

Gift of Mission Retreat Day Juniors Autumn Cybulski and Laura Brislin visited the Sisters of Mercy this week. The Sisters led the girls through discernment activities and sessions and gave personal testimonies about their own journeys to the sisterhood. It was overall a very well organized event and the sisters were delightful to visit.
Outstanding Academic Achievement Senior Johann Imperial was recognized as receiving one of the 5,000 highest SAT or ACT scores in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA)! Pictured is Johann and Mr. Sharp.
Regional Bowling Two Crusader bowlers qualified for Eastern Regional State singles this Friday. Congrats to Matt Zeamer and Isabella Folts for representing Catholic High. Our girl’s bowling team consisting of Megan Kramp, Ava McTamney-Prexta, Isabella Folts, Olivia Reichert and Promise Chen have qualified and will bowl in the girls team regional state tournament on Saturday! Way to go!
Regional Wrestling Congratulations to Eric Howe for medaling in his 1st District 3 Wrestling meet and qualifying for the Regional tournament this weekend!
District Swimming Good luck to our Crusader Swim Team as they compete in this week’s District Championship in Cumberland Valley!

Re-Enrollment Process It’s time for you to login to SchoolAdmin to indicate if your student is going to enroll for the 19-20 school year. If you did not receive an email on January 18th with instructions on how to do that, please call the business office at 717.509.0307. Also, Registration Fees for 19-20 are now being accepted. If paid by March 1, the fee will be $150 per student. After that the fee goes up to $200 per student. Payments may be made by cash or check to the business office or by using the Lunchtime portal (current students only).
Parent Referral Program Would you like to see a $500 discount on your tuition? If the answer is yes, then take part in our referral program! Our Referral Program is meant to thank families who have added new members to the Crusader family. For each new family that enrolls, the referring family will receive a $500 discount on tuition. All you have to do is recommend Lancaster Catholic! Course Selection 2019-20: Highlighting the Special Certificate Programs Information regarding these special programs is in the 2019-2020 Course Catalog which can be found in their entirety on the LCHS website. Entrepreneurial Leadership - Incorporating classes such as Business Math, Speech and/or Logic, Economics and the dual credit Millersville University course that are taught at LCHS, students may apply for this certificate program as early sophomore year. Fine & Performing Arts - The FPA program seeks to enhance a student’s commitment to excellence through the visual, dramatic or musical arts. The completion of six (6) credits in art/theater/music course as well as annual participation in an ensemble, performance, stage production or recital or completion of a portfolio for art/theater students is required. Requirements include: 4 credits in math and science (one credit may be computer science), maintaining grades of 84% or higher in each course, and independent research project or documented job shadowing experience. St. Augustine Scholars - the inaugural certificate program at LCHS, St. Augustine Scholars excel academically and have the motivation and desire to reach a new level in their educational development. Students are required to have 16 total Honors/AP/Dual Credit courses (3 courses must be AP/Dual Credit), 4.0 or above cumulative grade point average, 3 years of foreign language, Western Civilization (offered every other year), completion of senior thesis.
