Annual Fall Blood Drive Donors Wanted The annual fall blood drive will be held Tuesday, November 6 from 8:00 to 2:00 in the Old Gym. The Blood Drive is sponsored our National Honor Society and Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank. Did you know that every 2 seconds someone needs a blood transfusion? It is a safe and easy process which takes approximately 45 minutes. Anyone age 16 or older, weighing at least 110 pounds and in good health on the day of the drive may donate. Pennsylvania law requires a parent consent form for students who are 16 years old. Permission forms are available in the Library and must be returned by Friday, November 2. Unfortunately, International students may not donate since they have not been in the U.S. for 1 complete year. All donors must present a photo ID at the time of donation. Sign-up sheets for donating will be available in the Library beginning Monday, October 22. Please encourage your son or daughter to donate. If you would like to donate please email Miss Susan Martin at smatin@ lchsyes.org with your preferred time.

The Campus Ministry Department is looking for adult volunteers to help with the I Am Youth Rally! The rally is for Middle School aged students on Sunday, October 21st. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Art Bamert, abamert@ lchsyes.org, or Noelle Cybulski, ncybulski@lchsyes.org, or call at (717) 5090315 ext.123. Please sign-up by October 17th!
Campus Ministry Retreat Update: The deadline for retreat sign ups for the 2018/2019 school year has officially passed but there are still many students who have not signed up yet and many retreats that still have space available. The on-line Sign-up Genius link will be closed on Friday. Any student who would like to make a change to an existing retreat sign up or sign up for a new retreat should stop by Campus Ministry and see Mr. Bamert or Ms. Cybulski. The current status of retreat availability is posted on our web page at www.lchsyes.org/apps/pages/retreats/ and will be updated as needed. Just a reminder each student is expected to do at least one retreat each year as part of the diocesan education graduation requirements. We offer many retreats of varying lengths, at different times of the year and with different focuses to meet the students where they are in their spiritual life. We understand also that many of the popular retreats are full and that some students are on waiting lists. We will do our best to try and give each student a chance to attend the retreat of their choice. Any student who does not sign up for a retreat will automatically be placed on the list for the theme retreat day scheduled for April 17th. If you have any questions please contact Art Bamert Jr at abamert@lchsyes. org or Noelle Cybulski at ncybulski@lchsyes.org or give Campus Ministry a call at 717.509.0315 ext 123.
