Lady Crusaders Basketball Car Wash Mark your calendars and save the date! The Lancaster Catholic Crusader Girls Basketball team will host a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, August 3rd from 9-2 PM at the S&T Bank on Oregon Pike (1683 Oregon Pike, Lancaster). The car wash is by donation and food and drink will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the LCHS Girls Basketball team.

ImPACT Testing All athletes are required to take a baseline computer test called an ImPACT test on the computer to have on file for comparison if they get a concussion during the year. Tests are conducted during the 9th and 11th grade years and for all new students. All students that participated in a sport during the 2018-2019 school year, have either been tested or sent a code to take the test at home. If you have not received a code, have any questions, or want to confirm that your child has taken the test, please contact Beth Newill, Athletic Trainer, at bnewill@ lchsyes.org. We would like all students tested prior to August 1st.
Concert Choir Auditions Hello Lancaster Catholic Students and Families! Auditions for Concert Choir will be held in room 22 on Tuesday, July 30, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 31, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Auditions will be 10 minutes in length and consist of vocal warm-ups and sight-reading. If you are interested in auditioning, please contact choral director Michael Adams at madams@lchsyes.org by July 22.
Welcome Home Walk-Through Shake off those nerves by exploring LCHS with an upperclassman tour guide and find out the best way to navigate the school. Walk-though the halls of Old Main and Reilly Hall with a Catholic High tour guide, get all of your questions answered at a Q&A session and learn about our technology policies. For the incoming new students, there will be two days with three time slots each. Those days are Wednesday, August 7th and Wednesday, August 14th at 10 AM, 1 PM and 6 PM. School Counseling Corner College Boot Camp Once again this year, the School Counseling Office will be hosting College Boot Camp. On August 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Old Gym, seniors may join us for a helpful session from many Admissions Counselors from the area and as far away as New Orleans! This session, as well as an afternoon session assisting students with Naviance/College Search/College Essay will provide seniors with the proper tools for a successful year. Registration will be open beginning the week of July 29, 2019 and it’s FREE!
AP Testing Students taking AP courses will need to register to take their spring, 2020 AP exams by October 18, 2019 due to changes that the College Board has instituted. We will be using Total Registration for on-line registration and payment. More information will be forthcoming!
PSAT The School Counseling Office will offer the PSAT for sophomores and juniors on October 16, 2019. This year, we will be using an on-line registration through Total Registration. More information will follow about this as we get closer to the start of the school year.
So Where’s My Schedule? The School Counseling Office as well as our Technology Department continues to learn and develop our new student management program, Rediker. At this stage, all student requests have been made, modified and final schedules are being built.
Students should be receiving their final schedules in early August.

Resurrection Catholic School Golf Outing Resurrection Catholic School will hold its annual Golf Outing at Meadia Heights Sept. 10 with a shotgun start at noon and registration at 10 a.m. Men and women golfers may play in the four-person scramble for $90 per person. Twosomes and singles will be paired up. The day includes a hot dog and beer lunch, barbeque dinner, and contests on the course including a $10,000 prize for a hole in one on the 18 th hole, sponsored by Bill Kiely. Sponsorships for tables, golf carts, holes and pin flags remain available. Businesses receive good exposure during the event and at the dinner on this private course. This is the 14th year of the school’s charity event to benefit student technology. Last year, the school purchased licenses and insurance for middle school students’ Chromebooks, also made possible by the golf outing. This year, funds are earmarked to equip a new STEM lab.
