Rachel’s Challenge Recap Look for the best in others. Dream big. Choose positive influences. Speak with kindness. Start your own chain reaction. On Tuesday, September 10th Rachel’s Challenge came to Lancaster Catholic High School. Rachel Joy Scott was the 1st victim of the Columbine High School Shooting in 1999. After her death, many students that Rachel reached out to shared stories with the Scott family about the profound impact Rachel’s simple acts of kindness had on their lives.

“I have a theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness can go.”
