Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce luncheon meetings are held at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St., at noon each Monday, federal holidays excluded. Everyone is welcome!

Help sponsor our ‘Old School’ 4th The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of fireworks to Fort Worden State Park for the first annual “Old School” 4th of July, presented by the chamber, the Fort Worden Public Development Authority and Thunderbull Productions and sponsored by Port Townsend Paper Company and David Chuljian, Family Dentistry and Pryotechnics. You have an opportunity to help sponsor this important community event and there’s an affordable sponsorship level for everyone. Approximately half of the initial fundraising goal of $20,000 has been met thus far, and we are actively soliciting individual donations and business sponsorships from those individuals and organizations who are able to help. Lineup features tons of fun

The Old Fashioned 4th of July at Fort Worden activities begin at 4 p.m. Here’s quick look at the lineup: Attendees will be a able to choose betweeen a beer garden, games, Team Tug of War or a car show. Live music will include: Tuba Skinny, Kevin Mason and the Yacht Club, The Hep Replacements and Crow Quill Night Owls. On hand to feed the hungry hoardes will be Dented Buoy Pizza, Olgita’s Mexican Cuisine, The Boiler Room, Candice’s Donuts, and Fort Worden’s own food service facilities.
