CONTENTS AWESOME PEOPLE

It’s awesome to spend time with great all-around people such as this group of Quilcene High School students. Prior to the Quilcene Community Fair parade, senior football team captain Eli Harrison gets a lift thanks to (from left) Alexis Mack, Dolores Perez, Hannah Williams, Kourtney Benek, Rebecca Carstensen and Alexis Gray. An ‘Awesome’ Way to See Things An awesome individual stands out in a crowd, even when that person does not seek attention. Daily life in Jefferson County depends upon the people, groups, clubs, organizations and businesses that put forth an effort without wanting or needing any special recognition. We all know people who we would rate as being simply awesome at what they do on a personal, professional and/or community level. Our third “Awesomeness Survey” results are published here: They include hard workers, awesome kids, nice people, inspirational individuals – a little bit of everything, and a lot of names. See who is on the list that you know. (Note that names were submitted by the community, and may have been accidentally misspelled.) Our annual Who’s Who publication is intended to help make connections through business, recreation, entertainment and the all-important community service and support groups. It serves as a reference guide for the whole year – it’s also available on ptleader.com. Use this publication to see how, where and when you can learn more about an area of interest or need, and check out the names of people who are indeed awesome – and may not even know it!
