Parks

• Olympic National Park

Recreational opportunities abound in Olympic National Park, which divides Jefferson County into two geographically separate portions: East Jefferson County and the sparsely populated, oceanside West End. The park is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, although some roads, campgrounds, trails and other visitor facilities close in winter. Emergency situations, including flooding, blow-downs or wildland fire, also may close areas temporarily. See nps.gov/olym for extensive park information. Click on Quick Links “Operating Hours and Seasons” for complete and up-to-date listings, with opening and closing dates of park roads, campgrounds, visitor centers and ranger stations. Access recorded road and weather information, including winter Hurricane Ridge Road conditions. (A large landslide in January 2010 closed that road for approximately six weeks. Repairs are expected to be completed in March.) Visitors are encouraged to call for the latest park road and trail information The Port Townsend & Jefferson County Leader

Here’s What our Patients are Saying: “You guys were great! You didn’t make me feel embarassed because I was afraid. I have had so many bad experiences in the past with other dentists. Thank you soooooo much!” - Jessica M. “Great - right from the first phone call placed and my final visit, these guys are the best! They made me feel comfortable while there. You go Dr. Savidge! The BEST dentist in town.” - Tanya R.

“Dr. Savidge and his team are very understanding and compassionate. I am terrified of dentists, needles and basically the whole experience. I would never have been able to have my teeth fixed without their care. I’ll never go anywhere else again. They made it virtually painless for me.” - Heather B.
