About Dennis Wong Dennis Wong was born to a poor family in urban Hong Kong. Life was tough but Dennis Wong always found encouragement and love from his mother, who eventually moved the family to California with the help of her brotherinlaw. Dennis Wong and his family soon adjusted to Western culture, though he struggled with finances throughout his early life. In one of his most painful childhood memories, Dennis Wong recalls leaving school in tears because his mother could not afford his favorite snack. According to Dennis Wong, shame became a controlling factor in his life. For many years, he wanted to return to Hong Kong and live among others who were just as poor as him – or even worse off. But Dennis Wong remembers his mother telling him that things would get better if he would learn to follow in the footsteps of American entrepreneurs. He did just that and after briefly getting involved with the wrong crowd, Dennis Wong reestablished his priorities and registered for college. Dennis Wong majored in electrical engineering but decided to enter the real estate market. Finding much success with his sister and business partner, Dennis Wong made a name for himself on the California housing scene. The duo caught the attention of a handful of wealthy businessman and soon this poor kid from Hong Kong was a selfmade millionaire. At 30 years old, Dennis Wong had broken the cycle of poverty and found success in America. Then at the age of 40, Dennis Wong was diagnosed with prediabetes. This, along with heart disease and clogged arteries, was enough to redirect his attention back to what mattered most – his health and his family. This healthcare crisis is what prompted Dennis Wong to begin researching health and nutritional products. Today, Wong serves as CEO of YOR Heath and works with product developers, scientific advisers, and athletic counselors to market a proprietary line of superior nutrition.
