LEAF Retreat focuses on being in a beautiful secluded place in which you can relax, rejuvenate, and get away from it all. This is a premier experience with a limited size. While maintaining the same footprint size, connecting with nature and the outdoors is an essential part of the experience. Retreats focus on LEAF’s community, specifically honoring Members and fulfilling our mission of building more connections. We are thrilled to keep the smaller model of the retreat every Spring to deepen our relationships with our LEAF Community, strengthen our partnerships, and dive deeper into the culture all around us.

LEAF Festival October 19-22
LEAF Festival is our award-winning founding event that has been the core of family and friend traditions over the past 27 years. LEAF is one of the BEST WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL for Families on the planet. LEAF is "the one place our family meets up every year", "where I have taught my kids to explore other cultures", "where I have learned about music and met artists from all over the world", "where I met my husband", "where I found the BEST of me", and "where I feel ALIVE". This is LEAF for over 500,000 people who have gathered at this beautiful historical site at Lake Eden and learned and connected with artists from 104 countries. LEAF is known as a festival, yet it is also where anyone of any age can step beyond their comforts and explore arts and culture and CONNECT WITH THE WORLD, OTHERS, and THE BEST OF THEMSELVES. Drawing an audience of 12k (people over the weekend from across the Southeast and beyond, this Festival has become a family & friend tradition and household name for many across the world!
LEAF Festival is a spirited celebration of our local and global community. Stages are more elaborate with headline performers and global artists. This is the fun-filled weekend with activities bursting at the seams that our community has come to know and love.

LEAF Summer Camp 2023
LEAF Global Experience is excited to once again host 8 weeks of LEAF Schools & Streets Summer Camp from June to August! This amazing camp features dance, drumming, songwriting, and so much more! These camps help to bolster youth as a whole and create cultural curiosity. So much more than just a Summer Camp!

LEAF Summer Event
Traditionally we have hosted LEAF Downtown as a FREE two-day event held in the heart of Asheville at Pack Square Park taking our mission and bringing it to life for everyone to enjoy. In 2022, due to circumstances beyond our control, we shifted to and were grateful to host 750 at LEAF Down by the River. In keeping with our mission, this event was free and open to the public As we move forward due to the unknowns of where our partnership with the City of Asheville will lead or if it will continue at all we have not yet set the format for what a Summer Event will look like though our Partners will be the first to know and be invited to help to craft and create another unique and amazing event!

Teachers Co-Hort with Kennedy Center, special private events, LEAF Schools & Streets Music & Arts Camps and a place where learning and culture are readily available to all.

LEAF Schools & Streets has many tools one of which is the Easel Rider which is out and about throughout our community with a team of artists. This community tool show up where needed, and brings the art to the kids and families in equitable ways of engagement.
