Unique Body Toning Exercises That You Can Do In 3 Minutes The style of workout I’m about to show you is way different than anything you’ve probably tried before and is great for busy people that think they don’t have time for body toning exercises. You need to keep an open mind because this is quite different and you may get funny looks, but don’t worry what other people think. These body toning exercises may result in a leaner, stronger body so you will get the last laugh. Instead of doing your normal workout of body toning exercises and cardio for an hour a day, with this program you will be working out several times a day, 5 days a week but just for a few minutes at a time. This program consists of body toning exercises done 6-8 times throughout the day, only 2-3 minutes each Now obviously if you work in an office you can’t be shy about doing a few body toning exercises and having co-workers watch you. Maybe you can even persuade them to join you. If you have a private office then you won’t have to worry about people watching, if you work at home, or are a stay at home mom then there’s no reason you can’t fit these body toning exercises into your day. If you work a normal 9-5 day, I recommend doing these 2 minute body toning exercises every hour, on the hour, with the exception of lunch. For example, you could try the workouts at 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. If you end up having a very busy day and can only fit in a few of these workouts that’s okay, but try to get in as many as possible. Here are the body toning exercises we will be focusing on: Forward and reverse lunges Body weight squats Pushups Floor planks Floor ab exercises such as lying leg thrusts and ab bicycles One legged body weight Romanian deadlifts This list is relatively simple, if you know some other good body toning exercises you can add those as well. You can just stick to squats, lunges, and pushups if you aren’t comfortable getting down on the floor. The good thing about these body toning exercises is that in 2 minutes you get enough of a workout to get your blood pumping, heart rate is up, a large part of your body’s muscles are worked, and your body temperature is raised. You also don’t have to worry about sweating, with these body toning exercises your skin will only get a little moist.


Here’s an example workout: Mon/Wed/Fri 9am – 10 pushups / 15 squats, repeat 1x for 2 reps 10am - plank holds (hold the planks as long as you can taking short breaks for a total of 3 minutes) 11am – 5 pushups / 10 squats, repeat for 4 sets 1pm – plank holds (hold as long as you can for 3 minutes) 2pm – 8 pushups / 12 squats, repeat for 3 sets 3pm – plank holds (hold as long as possible for 3 minutes) 4pm – max# of pushups / max# of squats, no repeats Tues/Thurs 9am – 6 fwd lunges each leg / 6 rev lunges, repeat 1x for 2 sets 10am – one legged Romanian deadlifts 6 each leg / floor abs for 20 sec. repeat 1x for 2 sets 11am – 3 fwd lunges each leg / 3 rev lunges, repeat for 4 sets 1pm – one legged Romanian deadlifts 3 each leg / floor abs for 20 sec. repeat for 4 sets 2pm – 5 fwd lunges each leg / 5 rev lunges, repeat for 3 sets 3pm – one legged Romanian deadlifts 10 each leg / floor abs for 30 sec. no repeat 4 pm – max# fwd lunges each leg / max# rev lunges in one set, no repeat The above routines are just an example, use your creativity and come up with your own mini workouts. Doing these body toning exercises throughout your day will stimulate your metabolism and burn a lot of those extra calories. Even though you only do the body toning exercises for a short duration, you accumulate lots of repetitions for almost every muscle in your body. There’s hardly any excuse for not being able to take a 2 minute break once per hour when you don’t even break a sweat. Another benefit of doing these body toning exercises throughout your day is that you don’t have to devote any time before or after work for a workout. You now have the some more free time. These body toning exercises are a great way to break out of a plateau and stimulate new results, but this is only one method of training and it doesn’t mean that you should only stick with this method forever. Have the courage to try something different and don’t worry so much about what other people think, in the end you’ll be laughing at all these people who are giving you funny looks while they are eating their donuts.
