The William Brown Building 226 S. Main Street Downtown Rockford, IL
The William Brown Building was originally built between 1885 & 1892 and was once the home to the City of Rockford offices. For many years the building was the main office of Illinois National Bank. The William Brown Building, named for a prominent railroad executive who later became a judge, was renovated with Historic Tax Credits in the 1990s. The beautiful William Brown Building is home to BMO Harris Bank as well as 30 loft-style apartments and a 1360 SF commercial space housing the new location of Minnihan’s Pub.
