Bringing Our Community

Together

The Capital Campaign to Build the Mascoma River Greenway

donate @ www.mascomagreenway.org

Our Plan for the Future The vision of the Mascoma River Greenway (MRG) project is to provide Lebanon’s residents and visitors with a safe, convenient, beautiful, and human-powered way to reach the places they want to go. The Mascoma River Greenway will transform how people in Lebanon “get there from here,” increasing opportunities for physical activity. The MRG will serve as our corridor for non-motorized transportation and recreation, connecting Lebanon’s community educational centers, Trail concept on path behind Timken Aerospace

neighborhoods, recreation, work, shopping, medical centers, transit stops, and cultural locations. The Greenway will truly connect Lebanon and West Lebanon.

Mascoma River Greenway Mission The Mascoma River Greenway (MRG) mission is to build a 4-mile, multi-use, non-motorized, year-round, separated pathway along the former Boston & Maine railroad corridor. The Greenway will extend from the current terminus of the Northern Rail Trail in downtown Lebanon at Spencer Street to the historic Westboro Railroad yard, connecting Lebanon and West Lebanon.
