Perhaps because only in the vaguest fantasy do I approach you it’s evident that beauty well defends you.

In the shadowy house
Remsen Wolff (New York, 1940 – New York, 1998) was a self-taught street and studio photographer, poet and social activist. This book is the first publication dedicated to his work, offering a glimpse of his archive of 200.000 images - a treasure trove that can now be shared with the world. All American Girls is a selection of the transvestites, transsexuals and transgenders, lovingly photographed by Wolff in New York in the early 1990s.
