From exploring legislative fundamentals to the topic of mental health, this Health and Social Care diploma introduces you to the areas vital for successful careers. You will study a range of topics including safeguarding, anatomy, infection prevention, and equality and diversity – learning how to utilise your knowledge in future job roles and real-life scenarios.You will also carry out valuable work experience with an industry employer, gaining vital skills needed to work in the field.
Study length: 1 year, full time.
Entry requirements:
Five GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and Maths. You will have the opportunity to study English and Maths during your course if you do not already have these.
What’s next?
You can progress on to the Health & Social Care Level 3 course or a related apprenticeship.
