Want a rewarding career in fabrication and welding? Keighley College is accredited by The Welding Institute (TWI) to deliver recognised welding qualifications. Study in purpose-built workshops, gaining practical skills in metal fabrication, soldering, brazing and thermal cutting.

Welders are required across a wide range of industries including construction, engineering, transport, aerospace, nuclear, and offshore oil and gas. They also carry out repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.

There is a global shortage of skilled welders, with the UK requiring 20,000 professionals over the next 15 years. This sector could offer opportunities for travel, both nationally and internationally. Keighley College has been accredited by The Welding Institute (TWI) to deliver coded welder qualifications. Our Level 1 welding courses are for anyone who wants to become a welder and is new to metal fabrication, thermal cutting and/or brazing and soldering. Our Level 2 welding courses are aimed at anyone already working in the industry who wants to develop their skills further and advance their career.
