NON-STANDARD ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The below requirements are additional entry requirements for all of our prospective students. If you don’t think you can meet these, get in touch, we are here to help.
All applicants should demonstrate the required literacy skills to complete the course. Students considering progression to a top-up degree may be required to have GCSE English and maths at grade 4. University Centre Leeds can signpost opportunities for these to be achieved.
Candidates applying for a top-up degree will need to hold a relevant foundation degree or higher national diploma. Minimum grade profiles may apply, please check course requirements and contact us with any queries. MATURE APPLICANTS We welcome applications from all age groups including candidates over 21 years old who may not meet the academic criteria. Mature candidates will be interviewed to assess if we are a match for your needs. INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS International qualifications will be assessed against our criteria for recognised UK qualifications. Speakers of other languages need to have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of at least 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any one pathway) or a recognised Level 2 English qualification. PART-TIME APPLICANTS Part-time students will be expected to be employed or have relevant previous experience. Please visit our ‘How to apply’ section on page 20 for more information.
