Friday 23rd September Join us as we celebrate the 10th birthday of the biggest student night in Leeds. Known as much for its music as its themed parties, guest appearances and freebie giveaways, Fruity is the biggest student night in Leeds. Join us as we celebrate its 10th birthday with a huge Union takeover across all our venues and the Refectory. Join us for Fruity every Friday, tickets for Fruity throughout term one are on sale. Friday 16th, Sunday 18th, Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rd September Leeds is home to one of the best markets in the country – come along to discover this hidden gem and find out more about the city centre on your way. Leeds Kirkgate is a great place to find food and household items at great prices, and is also home to the fortnightly local farmers’ market. Meet at the Union Helpdesk at 12.00 noon, free

Wednesday 5th October Leeds Varsity puts the University of Leeds head to head with Leeds Met University in over 50 sports fixtures in one day. As the listings show, there’s no such thing as a ‘typical’ Leeds University Union event. We host everything from 5,000 capacity multi-venue nights with the biggest names through to more personal events aimed at connecting people with common interests.
