Join us on the first Wednesday of every month from 10 a.m. for our Preschool Program! Why do bees sting? Are all snakes venomous? Can chameleons really change colors? Come learn all about the different adaptation's animals have to help protect themselves from danger! This program will include a craft, activity exploration stations & a live animal encounter Designed to capture a preschooler's sense of curiosity and cultivate a connection to the natural world, each program will include a story, craft, and either a short hike or live animal encounter. The Young Eagles program is designed to introduce youth, ages 11-17 to general aviation. The Young Eagles first flight program is free of charge thanks to the generosity of our pilots and ground crew. The minimum age to fly is 11 years old. A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the waiver and be on-site during the flight. Children younger than 11 may participate in the instruction class and walk around the aircraft but they cannot fly. A pancake breakfast is also available for $6 per person.
