This family-friendly, fun and FREE event will be held on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University. Families will enjoy games, crafts and activities while meeting neighbors from local education, arts, environment, health, government and public safety organizations. In addition, Daniel Tiger and his friend Katerina Kittycat will be on hand to meet their SWFL friends. Finally, at the heart of this event is the importance of being neighborly, so WGCU will host activities throughout the day promoting community kindness. www.wgcu.org

Tropical Fun Shine Polynesian Show

This Polynesian dance show will have your heart pounding to tantalizing Tahitian beats. Swaying hula dancers will mesmerize you as they tell a story with their hula hands to the music of the islands. Toddler

For ages 18 - 36 months and caregivers. Toddlers and caregivers move and groove to stories, music, rhymes and activities during this interactive storytime that builds language and motor skills. Space is limited.

Preschool

For ages 3 - 5. Preschoolers develop school readiness skills through books, rhymes, songs and movement. While parents wait nearby in the library building. Space is limited.

Family

For children through age 5 and caregivers. Families with young children enjoy a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities designed to promote and reinforce literacy and language development. Registration is required. Space is limited.
