Dear Bishop Evans, First, we wish to express our most — the deepest sympathy to you towards the absence in life of your beautiful wife, Dorothy A. Evans, on behalf of the Tarone & Danetta Claybrook Family. It has been great mixed emotions of joy and loss when we learned of the promotion and passing of our most loving Pastor, “Mother”, Friend, Counselor, Sister and Gift from God. God gives some apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers for our maturing and equipping. Pastor Dorothy Evans fulfilled all throughout her life for so many — from the wealthy to the distraught, lost and downtrodden. The lives Mother Evans” Has touched and continue to touch, is too difficult to measure or count, as they are in perpetuity. God has always given her such a mighty word from himself to share with others inside and outside the pulpit. Mother Evans joy and willingness to serve, preach, teach and love is/was in measurably. The immeasurable tea can only be grasped in the changed lives of those who grew and walked in faith in Jesus, our Lord. The width, depth, and height of changing each person one to dozens at a time happened before our own very eyes. But the exponential expansion of the fruit as a crossed into multiple generations of families from one to the next continues. Her one is Thousands. Then thousands of generations that will continue until the Lords work on earth is complete the counting of this fruit in the spirit continues as we share her wisdom in the Lord. It has now been decades since 1995 when you, Bishop Evans and Pastor Evans both ordain and licensed us, Tarone & Danetta Claybrook, for the work of the ministry. Every ounce of fruit we have seen and experience must be can koinonia Jointly share it with both of you. Every act of kindness, love, and charity is part by Bishop and Pastor Evans, Since you both are joint fruit-bearers in the name of Jesus. Our mother Evans was simply amazing and glorious credit to God within her. She was such a terrific communicator in the gospel of Christ — no matter where we were. She always empowered us, by letting us know whose we were — as more than conquerors. We know you have a lot of loving family, friends and congregants outpouring well deserve love, and we would be remised, if we did not clearly communicate the value of mother Evans always had in our heart, although we are 1000 miles away in her birth state of Ohio. We appreciate every precious moments we shared together each time we were given the opportunity to be a part and now visiting Refuge Christian Center, add a special event, strategizing a new idea, breaking bread, communing in your home. To God be praise, Glory, honor of all and eternal wisdom, knowledge and love in the way Pastor Dorothy Evans brought to our family.

The perfect example says Lord, use my legs to run this race Use my mouth to speak to your people in grace Use my hands to heal the sick in love Use my eyes to show the soul to the Heavenly Father above Use my arms to hold the broken and lost, reminding the world that with you, none would be lost Mom, you were the perfect example Led by The Spirit The Gospel Goat is what I’ll always consider you as I’ll continue to follow Christ as you informed me to The perfect example you left for me to be transformed and renewed In Heaven, we’ll go up in a praise In our immortal bodies Through the precious Blood of Jesus We’re going to all be raised Until the day we meet again in the air, I’ll always remember to look for God in the place called THERE I’m going to miss you in the natural but spiritually, I’m rejoicing that you’ve made it to the other side Thank you for being my PERFECT example Love, Pastor Dominique Frank

It has been an honor and priviledge to have been the first son to this miraculous Mother who I consider to be the Queen of all Ladies. Amongst the many gifts she’s given, the best gift has been the gift of life. It’s been said that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I found my connection not only naturally but spiritually having shared many of the same gifts. Mother I miss you and I’ll see you again. Love, your #1 Son.
