Kuo-Wei Lee (Wade) graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas studying in Arts and Technology (ATEC) design in May 2018, specializing in graphic design, web design, brand design, user experience, and interaction design.
He currently works as a designer at the ArtSciLab at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is also a graphic design freelance with 3-year experience in Asia.

The Avesta Integrative Medicine LLC provides simple answers for healthier families through research, tutorials, recipes, and living life with lots of kids. Avesta Medicine starts providing telemedicine consultations in lifestyle, functional and Integrative medicine. Client would like to use website to attract/absorb more customers through online.

As your audience is largely non-technical, a special effort needs to be made to communicate the core benefits of Avesta Medicine.

Project Goals
Avesta Medicine needs to set itself apart from competitors while maintaining a coherent message. Avesta Medicine website should be nimble, and passionate about telemedicine services / medical consultation and we need that to be at our core.
Given the state of your competitors’ websites, I think Avesta Medicine has a real opportunity to differentiate itself through a great web design, a consistent message and professional medical support
Current competitor websites are very business orientated, but people like to deal with real people. We like to know that someone is on the other end of the phone or inbox and that they genuinely care. I believe that by focusing on the service, the people and the experience behind Avesta Medicine we can create something that will elevate the Avesta Medicine’s brand to a point of reference for telemedicine services.

This three phase process begins at the concept phase where everything is planned, then the design phase where look and feel (website prototype) is produced, and finally the test phase where everything is thoroughly tested and reviewed to check if the website meets customers’ need. This process is designed to ensure project efficiency and your complete satisfaction.
Concept Phase
A pretty design is meaningless without great usability, a higher engagement of visitors and an overall increase in revenue. Therefore, I will do research on telemedicine and undertake a complete evaluation of avestamedicine.com.
In my experience redesigns can be potentially risky, it tears down the good the bad and the ugly. That is the reason why I measure everything. By looking at the evaluation, seeing what currently works and what doesn’t I will be in a solid position to build a website that will hit your business goals.

Design / Test Phase
Putting design strategy, which is the outcomes from concept phase, into practice makes ideas manifest. After uncovering insights from research. I created prototypes for interaction.
Usability testing evaluates a website by testing its functionality with potential users. It helps us see how users/customers understand and navigate through a prototype of the website. The most important tihing is to make sure if the design meets customers’ need or not.
