Take to the city's streets this summer for endless markets and fairs. Enjoy plenty of food, music, art, and dancing in neighborhoods across Chicago.
1. Gold Coast Art Fair
Grant Park’s 60th annual Gold Coast Art Fair is making its return June 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Enjoy the works of 300 artists from around the world, family friendly activities, food, and live music. There is a suggested entry fee of $5, which will go to the Chicago Park District and support art programming.
2. French Market
Get a little taste of France in Chicago’s very own Wrigley Field! Wrigleyville’s French Market takes place twice monthly throughout this summer. The market features over 20 vendors offering food, handmade goods, and much more. Live music ranging from American blues to reggae to rock and roll completes the festive scene. 3. Green City Market
Whether you’re in Lincoln Park or West Loop, this popular farmers market’s two locations host dozens of local, sustainable farmers. Choose from the freshest produce while supporting local farmers.
4. Maxwell Street Market
For an eclectic atmosphere, be sure to check out the storied Maxwell Street Market. It’s filled with handmade crafts, resale housewares, clothing, live music, street food, and plenty of opportunity for family fun! The market is open Sundays now through December 18.
5. Old Town Art Fair
Located in the heart of the Old Town Triangle District and voted #1 Art Fair in America, the fair hosts over 200 nationally acclaimed artists, live music, and more! Enjoy a Garden Walk through the neighborhood’s green spaces and other family-friendly activities alongside endless art exhibitions. Old Town Art Fair takes place June 12 and 13.
