introduced classical music, theater and opera to the rolling hills of Rappahannock County. Castleton has been a vista-opener for over 3,000 young people through open dress rehearsals, master classes and through its Young Artists Training Seminar.

Chester Gap Fire and Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization providing fire and Advanced Life Support emergency services. Our response area includes rural and semi-rural populations in Rappahannock and Fauquier counties; areas with di cult access to homes and farms and long transport times to specialty centers. We rely on our community to assist with funding purchases of emergency vehicles and firefighting and emergency medical equipment.

CCLC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit o ering child care, preschool and afterschool programs for children ages six weeks to 12 years. We support a ordable child care for all families and 60% of CCLC's students receive full tuition assistance. CCLC has been in continuous operation since 1976 and

is accredited through Virginia Quality and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. CCLC uses the evidence-based Creative Curriculum.

FamilyFutures, a Rappahannock 501(c)(3) nonprofit, works to advance life skills through financial education and matching savings. Every public school kindergartner receives a personal savings account and opportunities to earn additional deposits while growing financial and life skills through graduation. All residents can access group or one-on-one financial education to plan for the future and manage life challenges.

The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company has served the greater Flint Hill community since 1954. Join us in supporting our dedicated team of first responders who tirelessly serve our community. Foothills Forum, a community news nonprofit, produces original, in-depth, and independent reporting on our county in conjunction with the Rappahannock News.

For the Cats' Sake is a nonprofit organization dedicated to spaying and neutering stray, feral and domesticated cats, and finding homes for adoptable cats and kittens through our foster based rescue. Our goal is to stabilize and reduce the cat population, by providing low and nocost spay/neutering services, and running a TNR (trap, neuter & return) program to assist residents. We also provide food, shelter and medical assistance to community cats in need.

Headwaters’ mission is to foster educational excellence in Rappahannock County for the benefit of our young people.

Hearthstone School extends from nursery/ kindergarten through 12th grade and is inspired by Waldorf education. Through creating a positive learning environment, Hearthstone promotes inner harmony and centeredness in a vastly changing world. Hearthstone's curriculum seeks to nurture and educate the whole child. Our teachers work respectfully and deliberately to awaken the imagination, open the heart, engage the hands, nurture the spirit and stimulate the intellect of each child.

Kid Pan Alley’s mission is to inspire creativity, build confidence and foster community among children of all ages through the group songwriting process. Founded in 1999, Kid Pan Alley has written over 2,800 songs with over 80,000 children in schools across the country, from Virginia to Hawaii.

Friends of The Rappahannock County Library raise funds to enhance the services of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library, to focus public attention on the library, and to support the library in developing library services and facilities for the region.

The John Jackson Piedmont Blues Festival is designed to pay tribute to Rappahannock’s native son, blues musician, John Jackson. John was a 1986 NEA National Heritage Fellow. A historic marker noting the location of Jackson's birthplace was erected by the state of Virginia in Woodville in 2005. This year's festival will be Sept. 30 at Eldon's Clover Hill Farm

Living Sky Foundation is committed to building a culturally diverse foundation to improve the quality of rural existence through social change and public outreach, as well as support continuous learning and youth leadership. A focus on self-expression, healing arts, mindfulness and positive values are emphasized through creative and cultural enrichment programs available to participants regardless of age, or status levels.

Rapp at Home is a nonprofit organization helping seniors to be independent, healthy in body and mind, and to live inspired, engaged lives, staying connected in our rural community.

RappCats is a private, nonprofit organization that rescues, cares for and finds loving homes for abandoned, abused, neglected, injured and homeless cats and kittens throughout Rappahannock County. Rapp Center for Education is a nonprofit organization committed to workforce training in Rappahannock County. We o er accredited healthcare certification programs, including medical assistant, phlebotomy technician, limited license radiologic technician and butchery and culinary courses. Facilities Authority (RCRFA) in the acquisition, conservation and development of the Rappahannock County Park to encourage recreational, ecological, educational, artistic and social activities for the residents of the county. The foundation, as a nonprofit organization, shall be able to raise funds and apply for grants to assist in funding equipment, improvements and maintenance of the park.

The Babe Ruth Baseball/Softball program (Rappahannock, Culpeper Baseball), using regulation competitive baseball and softball rules, teaches skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play. In all aspects, Babe Ruth League, Inc. is committed to providing our participants the very best educational, sports experience possible. The association is managed entirely by volunteers. We o er two seasons per year (~five months of soccer in total) and maintain a recreational soccer league that includes games against surrounding counties. We don't receive any financial support from Rappahannock County and rely solely on donations and player registration fees to cover basic costs.

The Sperryville Community Alliance was established on April 9, 2019 to support the well-being of Sperryville and its residents. Our mission is to promote activities that enhance the safety, inclusiveness, and vitality of the community. We actioned this mission by
