Dear Business Member, We would like to welcome you and your staff (back) to the Linen Quarter. It is a vibrant and historic district, with a strong sense of place. By basing your organisation here we hope you will benefit from all the advantages the Linen Quarter, and the Linen Quarter BID, has to offer. As employees return to the office, this pack will help your organisation re-orientate themselves to the local area. It contains a wealth of practical information, such as hospitality maps, business network organisations, and contacts for elected representatives. Many organisations are looking to support a healthier workplace and build a more sustainable company, so we have useful contacts for these too. And we have also included information for when things need fixed, such as street cleansing, utilities, or community safety. And of course every organisation in the area can also benefit from the many enhanced services offered by LQ BID (in most cases at no extra charge). Details about the BID, and the services we provide, are contained in pages 6 to 11 of the brochure. Some of the most exciting developments in 2021-2022 include the new parklets, planting, lighting, and other public realm improvements that are being rolled out across

the District, in conjunction with our public sector partners. In the Autumn of 2021 we will be launching the Linen Quarter as Northern Ireland’s first sustainable district, and we invite every organisation in the area to join us on this journey. And to support tourism and hospitality we’ve also relaunched the Golden Mile, formerly part of the evening economy associated with the area but now re-imagined as a Golden Mile of arts and culture. The initial distribution of this brochure is accompanied with free hand sanitiser, a contact magnet for our dedicated police service, the Golden Mile map, branded goods, and a complimentary £25 gift card. We encourage you to use the card in participating LQ coffee shops and restaurants, to reward your team or entertain a client. And by doing so you’ll do your bit to help the recovery of our hard pressed hospitality sector.
