Financial appeal Dear Colleague, No2EU-Yes to Democracy will be contesting seats in June 2009 on a platform of opposition to the Lisbon Treaty, against EU directives that privatise our public services and for workers’ rights for all workers in Britain. You can find out more about our programme and how you can be involved at www.no2eu.com No2EU-Yes to Democracy urgently needs financial resources. My union RMT is helping to fund the campaign, but No2EU-Yes to Democracy has no big business backing and relies on support from ordinary people. That is why I am appealing to all those who want the voice of working people to be heard to give generously and collect donations using the form overleaf from your work colleagues, friends and neighbours to allow us to field candidates. Under electoral law all parties need to keep a record of donors to their campaigns (although donations under £200 are not publicly disclosed). So please fill in your details alongside your donation.
