INTRODUCTORY SESSION OBJECTIVES: • To understand the overall purpose of the Integrity curriculum. (THINK it) • To discuss what this curriculum could mean for a group’s development into a team, and to establish expectations of each other. (MEAN it ) • Now What Challenge: To read the first three chapters of Dr. Henry Cloud’s “Integrity.” (SHOW it) _____________________________________________________________________________ WHAT is this curriculum all about? Well, it’s about…INTEGRITY…☺ What is your personal definition of INTEGRITY? As you already know, INTEGRITY is a TMSi value. Think it (belief): “We must act in a trusting and trustworthy way and doing what we say we will do.” Mean it (value): INTEGRITY Show it (actions/behaviors): 1. Builds relationships with customers and teams, based on trust and respect. 2. Is direct and presents the truth in an appropriate, helpful manner. 3. Adheres to core values and beliefs during both good and bad times 4. Doesn’t misrepresent his or herself for personal gain. 5. Practices what he/she preaches 6. The main purpose of engaging cross‐facility leaders in this curriculum is to help you build into a team around the concept of integrity. Group = More than one person. Team = A group that has true purpose, meaning, and functionality in common. DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: How will we know when we are a team? Once we are a team, what will we be able to do for each other that we do not/cannot do now? What are your expectations of each other as we begin the teambuilding journey? Why does INTEGRITY matter?
