NOTICE OF ANNUAL LIMIT WAIVER

NOTICE OF ANNUAL LIMIT WAIVER Interim final regulations permit plans to phase out annual limits starting in 2011 by allowing annual limits that are no lower than $750,000. That amount increases each year until annual limits are completely prohibited in plan years starting on or after January 1, 2014. If compliance with the annual limit requirements would result in a significant decrease in access to benefits under the plan or health insurance coverage or would significantly increase premiums for the plan or health insurance coverage, the plan may request a one-year waiver from the requirements (the waiver request must be made each year)
