ISOMETRIC DRAWING Design concept focus on the idea of transfering the architecture of monument into the architecture of environment by enhancing the connection between the designed product to the surrounding landscape The pavilion concept was inspired by the Japanese architectural master Kengo Kuma who believes the architecture should be part of the environment flow threfore should adapt and blend into the surrounding nature. A purely timber structure has been adopted for the main structure of this pavilion provide a strong connection to surrounding nature and appeal the audience with a sense of nature to be connect to the environemnt
FABRICATION DIAGRAM ENTIRE FABRICATION PROCESS
The initial stage which lines and dots has been drawn on the ground to ensure the location for the later bended metal frames
Interior timber and the brown timber connectors (also as decoration) has been placed on the other side of the metal frames , enlarge the thickness and size of the overall structure.
Metal frames placed according to specific height and angle defined in advance for example 5 meters on top of the ground and 90 degree against the gridA.
To make the structure strong enough another set of bended metal frames(different form) has been installed allow additional timber to be added without affecting the structure stability.
Timber slates bent towards the previous setted metal frames where those metal are currently working as the direction controller as well as the shape bounding box
Further placement of timber pieces has been adopted with those metal frames currently have timber on both side and make the timber in between become stable.

ITERATION MATRIX
Pavilion
This first line of the matrix dispay the very starting point of the pavilion design where a twisted looking geometry has been created as the initial point of the whole process where the random reduce has been adopted to the geometry in order to create unique pattern and increase the lightness of the pavilion for further joinment to the surrounding landscape and environement whih aims to display a sense of nature through this. 01. Initial stage Form achieved by divide srf & interpolate Layer number:12
02. Decorative stage Pattern achieved by using isotrim & random reduce Layer number:12
03. Adapt to functionality Form changed to create more functional area Layer number:21
By realizing the previous version was not functional enough due to the limited usable area and overelming and oversized decorative area , the form has to be changed to make the pavilion stays in a supposed functionality, dueing the changing process the interior size has apparently been increased in order to fill more people when it need to be functional , the roof has also been added to provide shade and rain protection. 05. The significant decorative as pavilion key stage isotrim & randomreduce & selective closest points Layer number:16 Random reduce:367
06. Final stage Rooftop placed aims to cover audience and presenters’ area Layer number:16
Landscape
04. Functional stage Clean sight obstruction & enlarge interior space Layer number:18
As what i mentioned several time in my design concepts, the landscape my this particular project is extremely significant threfore i have also created a matrix for my landscape (only selected) to display the change and developments happened on the site and how the landscape has been manipulated according to the function and ultimately functioned as the support and base to help with the pavilion ‘s stability . 01. Initial landscape Landform dig to be underground to provide suficient space Problem:dig too much due to initial pavilion’s limited height
02. Developed landscape Idea starting point of support pavilion with ground and metal Problem: the metal support apparently break natural feeling
03. Final landscape All the metal holders from previous stage has been removed Pavilion support purely by landscape for natural connection
TEXTURES & MATERIALS During the construction and fabrication process two different types of timber has been adopted in order to clearly separate the two sets of twists and display a sense of nature by showing timber joing together into their underneath landscape. As audience can see the two types of timber carries apparently divergent colours allow the ease for visual identification in separating the two sets of combination through the use of texture and materials

SELECTED VIEWS AFTER BEING ADJUSTED WITH FILTERS
A warm tone coloured filter has been adopted on the previous images due to the previous overwelming green colour which i have to reduce the green tone in order to transfer audience ‘s main focus to the image’s centralised pavilion instead of the surrounding vegetations, in order to achieve this i have simply increase the level of the warm colour for instance the timber ‘s light yellow and brown has been apparently improved to become stronger than the green colour and replace the primary position to give a balance to the completed images
