100 STEPS TO MARK 100 WEEKS

Foundation beneficiary Liv was injured in 2019 and paralysed from the waist down. Since her injury, she has adopted Hambo’s attitude and has worked really hard on her recovery.

June 17 will mark 100 weeks of Liv’s recovery and, to commemorate this, she has challenged herself to walk 100 steps in the Get Busy Living Centre gym with her physios.

Liv wants to give something back to the Foundation after the help she received following her injury and has set up a fundraising page so if you can spare a few pennies, she’d love your support. Look for Olivia Langley on JustGiving.

THE GET BUSY LIVING PODCAST

Matt has become such an expert at podcasts by now that we’ve decided to launch our own pilot episode of ‘The Get Busy Living Podcast’ which will be out soon.

This pilot featured Matt alongside guests Jim Hamilton, a Foundation ambassador and former player with Tigers, Saracens and Scotland; beneficiary Sophie Wilson; and Harry Potter star James Phelps to discuss what ‘get busy living’ means to them.

You can expect inspirational stories of triumph over adversity, an insight into why the little things are so important to recovery after a lifechanging injury and whether James did or didn’t buy his 2.9million Instagram followers!
