THANK YOU FROM THE TIGERS FOUNDATION

The support of Tigers fans for the Leicester Tigers Foundation since the outbreak of the pandemic over a year ago has played a key role in contributing to its on-going work.

A huge thanks to those who have donated, supported and got involved wherever possible over the last 12 months. We look forward to seeing more of you in the future when we can spend more time at our work in the community.

The Foundation auction has been a popular way to show support and offered two unique items for supporters to own in the build-up to the European Challenge Cup Final.

First up was an official European Challenge Cup matchball signed by fly-half George Ford following the semi-final victory over Ulster at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

The second item was a unique Man of the Match medal which was prepared for presentation at the Leicester Tigers versus Castres Olympique fixture last season, before the match was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Auction of the items totalled more than £400 towards the Foundation’s work in educational special needs and also with the Tigers Wheelchair Rugby Team.

We hope to have some other interesting items available for auction in coming months, so keep an eye out for updates on the club website as well as more news on the Foundation Monument project over the summer.
