FOUNDATION BENEFICIARIES RETURN

With gyms opening up across the country once again, the Get Busy Living centre has been busy with beneficiaries coming back to train outdoors in the sunshine with our personal trainer, Sutty.

Many of our beneficiaries have been mostly at home for months on end and it’s been fantastic to see some familiar faces and the progress they’ve made over the past few months.

We’ve introduced twice-weekly lateral flow testing for staff alongside vaccines and our existing covidsecure measures, so we can safely help people get busy living again.

OFFICIAL CHARITY PARTNER OF LIONS TRUST

The Matt Hampson Foundation has been named as an official charity partner of the British and Irish Lions Charitable Trust for 2021-22.

The Trust exists to support Lions players in need, providing financial support for injured players and assistance to those that have fallen on hard times, alongside furthering the spirit, values and ethos of the Lions through rugby clubs and communities across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Matt said: “We’re honoured to have been chosen as an official charity partner of the British and Irish Lions Charitable Trust and excited to be working with them.

“Rugby is firmly at the heart of the Matt Hampson Foundation and a number of our ambassadors have represented the Lions, so it’s fantastic to be recognised, especially in our 10th anniversary year.

“We believe that this alliance will create a powerful platform to promote what we do and allow us to help more people to get busy living again."

Gavin Hastings, Chairman of Trustees for the Lions Charitable Trust, said: “We are delighted to announce our four charity partnerships.

“We are proud to be partnering with four incredible charities who all have a connection with rugby at their core. We look forward to helping raise as much money as possible by highlighting the vital work they do.”
