Westway reopens after giving Grenfell aid The Westway Sport & Fitness Centre in North Kensington, which became a humanitarian centre for those affected by the Grenfell disaster, has officially reopened, following a refit. The centre, located just 200 yards from the residential tower, was originally due to reopen in June. However, it was instead offered as a humanitarian location by Everyone Active – which operates the centre on behalf of the Westway Trust – to support those affected by the devastating fire on 14 June. Among other relief activities, the centre was used as temporary accommodation for those who lost their homes in the blaze.
