2022 is a year of considerable growth For Shatchi

Icaught up with Shatchi’s sales director John McVey at Harrogate to find out how they have been coping during these turbulent times and to learn what 2022 holds for this fast-growing company. John was delighted with the reacton from both their regular customers plus new customers who visited their stand in Hall C at Harrogate.

Over the past three years both sales of their ‘Shatchi’ brand of Christmas products and MSpa hot tubs have enjoyed massive growth. So much so that their stand in Hall ‘M’ at Harrogate is far larger than in previous years to cope with the increased range of both existing and new products. These include all main categories of Christmas such as lit products, room décor and gift items. With all companies in this sector experiencing frustrating delays to their shipping and delivery plans I asked John the question ‘How have Shatchi managed their deliveries from the Far East to ensure customers’ deliveries?” He told me “Like everyone else, we managed to battle our way through to ensure that the bulk of our deliveries arrived in good time, but we certainly had some very frustrating problems to overcome.”

John continued “We have taken measures to ensure that for 2022 by ordering key items already and working with our closest and most trusted factories that deliveries will arrive in a timely fashion. Of course, this is a global problem and what with power supply problems in China and possible shortages of chips and other necessary raw materials, we can only ensure that we have done everything possible our end to ensure the arrival of our products.”

Shatchi have increased their Hitchin, Hertfordshire showroom and are already welcoming buyers by appointment to come and see for themselves.

John stresses that not only are Shatchi top quality, but their prices are amongst the keenest in the U.K.
