ROCK Sechura Piura - Perú

ECOLOGICAL FERTILISER

ABOUT

OUR

We are Fosyeiki SAC, a company engaging in exploitation, marketing and distribution of phosphate rock in its natural state and primary processed form. Our headquarter is in Lima, Peru and our phosphate rock is extracted from deposits located in Bayovar, province of Sechura – Region of Piura.

BENEFITS

PHOSPHATE ROCK

OF PHOSPHOROUS IN SOIL

The Phosphate rock contains phosphorous, a macronutrient essential for achieving the best agricultural yields. It contains other essential elements that are also beneficial to the plant, such as calcium, magnesium and sulphur. Our phosphate rock contain the following properties:

Our deposit has a total area of 20,000 sq kilometres and we produce an average of 300MT of phosphate rock in the natural state and 200MT of processed phosphate rock daily. We have already exported 40,000MT of our phosphate rock to many countries, including New Zealand.

This natural, environmentallyfriendly phosphate-based fertiliser has high solubility and reactivity. It is also easy to apply with prolonged residual effect.

•• Activates root development. •• Gives resilience against pest and disease. •• Increases precociousness. •• Fosters fructification. •• Helps nitrogen-fixing bacteria. •• Improves the quality of the harvested product.

USE

DOSAGE

WHY

It is used as a direct-application fertiliser and an ingredient for the production of superphosphates, phosphate acid and other derivates.

It depends on the amount of phosphorous already available in the soil and the needs of every crop. In general, an estimated dosage of between 600-1000kgs of phosphate rock is applied per hectare.

We are proud of our high quality products and socially responsible business practices.

OF PHOSPHATE ROCK

Direct application of phosphate rock has several advantages: •• Does not contain contaminant industrial residues such as excess acids. •• Does contain, in addition to phosphorous, many nutrients essential for soil and plants –

»» Calcium in a 1.5: 1 ratio to the P. »» Magnesium, the central atom of chlorophyll. »» Sulphur (calcium sulphate), the ingredient of many amino acids. »» Chloride, very important in nutrient management. »» Some zinc, copper, boron and moleybdenum, are very important ingredients in agriculture.

In acid soils, typical of rainy areas, phosphate rock is used as a direct-application fertiliser with excellent results, comparable in performance with superphosphates in acid soils.

OF PHOSPHOROUS IN SOIL

The phosphate rock must be applied at the time of sowing and throughout each stage of the plant’s growth.
