reseach 2006 client Nokia Design Helsinki, Finland
authors Lena Taran, Banu Kuspanova task Russian values description Investigate and identify key points affecting the visual culture of the country and sources of inspiration that may have a global effect on product design and other forms of visual art. The study is based on 3 key points: the street (commercial value), society (family values) and culture (aesthetic values).
35 cultural ROOF values White — the color of equality, it contains all the colors. Culture takes on all aspects of the life. Cultures of all different nationalities living in Russia equally influence to the culture of the whole country.
family HOUSE values Blue — the color of depth. It creates preconditions for the deep reflection of life, calls us to find meaning and truth. Family — this is something that is always located in the heart and affects us from “inside.” Something that is always with us since birth and for all life. Something intimate, that affects life’s values.
commercial STREET values Red — the color of leadership and wealth. This color always attracts attention, it is always in mothion. Red forces all to be active, inspires and gives strength to continue everything that has been initiated. Foundation is the basis of the house.
