This climbing centre came to mind after the trip to American mountains. Belarus has no mountains so I decided it to be a good idea to make a professional climbing centre which imitates mountains precisely. The main image of the building is a rock which bursts from the earth. Inside you feel yourself like in a cave, going through the canyons. The walls inside show the space of a pool and a climbing centre while walking through it. A corridor can generate interest even for a person who just came to have a cup of coffee. The rigid construction of the roof is used as a place to climb on.

DIPLOMA PROJECT THE RENOVATION OF THE MASHINE-TOOL PLANT 2012 ArchiCad+Photoshop
A factory in the city is not a problem but a potential. This factory in Minsk is long time not working in the full load and is now at the edge of rentability. But its location, surreal identical industrial constructions create a special atmpsphere and provoke to be creative. The main idea of the project - to chage function of a factory and create a “country of sound!
...How iron pipe sounds? What if to increment dynamics in old load cranes and design dynamic musical spaces? The theme of music was following me by its universality and by musical potential that the factory has.I look at this project made 5 years ago and understand that all needs to be redone, in terms of sensibility and accuracy to existent spaces. But this project is a part of my history and it will be left in portfolio.

ICELAND: INTO THE LABYRINTH OF THE PAST STUDIO SCHWARZ 2015 ArchiCad+Photoshop
Our soul is a labyrinth. The more we try to unwrap it into the rational surface, the more it folds into a more complex figure. Why not to project for this complexity? The project in Iceland was an important philofophical step into the side of irrational, natural. To work with Iceland is like to look at the time window, so “recently” the first people appeared there and so archaic are their beliefs. The project is designed for the one of the lava caves Surtshellir not far from the volcano. It’s an irrational labyrinth, in which a person meets himself. Vacuum glass windows are stopping the cold from inside; the more close to the center the more warmer. When the visitor comes to the center, he can rest from the load of irrational space in regular roooms that are located down by the stair. So there are two conditions of reality in the project. And for sure, there is also the third one, objective, in which a visitor can research about the structure of soil, chemical consistence of stones and totally not to be afraid of elves that live in the stones.

ISRAEL: STORYTELLING PLAYGROUND STUDIO SCHWARZ 2016 ArchiCad+Photoshop
How to work with an ultraorthodox community, which from the one side asks for an organisation of a common space, from the other side doesn’t accept secularity? The work in this semester was in the grip - between the concentration of cultureof Jerusalem, attributes and symbols ultraorthodox belief and natural needs of children that play same games in the whole world and don’t accept adult political games. As the result was a storytelling playground, filled with symbols of Jewish culture (clay, sence of letters of Hebrew language, ornamentics, light weight constructions). One of the main themes was a transition from the hightly concentrated by information library, incremented in the hill, to the weightlesschild playground, in which hebrew letters dissolve, becoming only small stones. The second theme was a mild change for the children from a play to books - through clay corridors into a fairy-tale universe of a library in the hill. The third concept was “ a corridor of balance”. which gives possibility for people in pray to go through a playground by a gallery and not to be disturbed.

PALERMO: WATERS AND SHADOWS STUDIO ANA LUENGO ANON 2016 ArchiCad+Photoshop
The project in Piazza Bellini is about the creation of a new public space filled with water and plants according to the location of the old qanats- the Arab water supply system. The main concept has to do with the creation of a new landscape language which revives the identity of a place. In the case of Piazza Bellini is all about the remembrance that once Palermo had a river, and was full of water and nature life. The supply of water comes from the refurbished water system located exactly under the designed pavilion. It provides nutrition for plants which grow within a flooded place and which were once inhabiting the rivers side of Palermo (Papireto river). This continuity of natural sustainable resources is very relevant for a city.

BRAZI: REVIVING DIVERSITY STUDIO STAUB 2017 Hand drawing
Can a subconscious act in design as an alternative hand drawing bring more truthful design solutions? Can the process of design be inverted: the act of making going before an act of analyzing? Which strengths the project gains in this case and why? How can I as an architect design urban structures, as well as actions of people, so that it brings interaction between different social groups and triggers sustainable urban development? These questions were the main points for research in Thesis project made for Sao Paulo, Brazil. The main achievement of the project is in the development of a new urban model, which naturally combines systematic and anarchical parts; a structure which can be implemented not only in the context of the site in Sao Paulo, but also throughout the world in dissolutive non-identical regions.

This architecture studio was my internship into the world of design and planning. It is a company with the rules of government institution, so I was happy to be a developer of a big living and civil complex. My contribution was fair enough I was managing one of the three parts of the complex. I was developing statements of finishing, floors, windows, doors; implying the draftings of related professionals, such as constructors, electricians.

1ST FLOOR
The townhouse is located in the low-rise building district of Minsk. The delicate exploring of the territory made possible to place four blocks of houses and same time save the green outdoor space. The block is designed for living of 12 families. Each family has its own two car places. The balconies are faced to the forest. The main rooms are full of light and have a beautiful nature view. Two pictures represent two variations on the topic of lines and how they can unite and transform the facade.

SECTION 1 The site is located in the neighbourhood of Minsk. The house is designed for a comfort living of 6 families. By introducing a central, shared courtyard, appeared the ability to design two residences that offer three-story single-family living. The project was approached through reinterpreting the traditional Belarussian castle. The combination of glass and brick gives modern and steady impression.

Being an intern I was mostly developing concept stages of small projects (vacation houses, seminar pavillions). I was responsible for vilualisations and 3d modelling. The main principles of the studio - compulsory detailed work with the landscape, the first place was always given to nature, the second - to the building. Developping of the philosophy, aesthetics, search for the roots in tradidions of place were the most timeconsuming stages of design. In the end the building was almost always simple.
For the hotel, shown on the picture, I was creating a detailed model, which was also revelloped in design solutions. The image was placed on the page of the company as a representation of the project.

A house for an artist should be a church. It’s a sacral place, a lullaby of thoughts. Masterpieces of thoughts might change the course of design development, art or architecture. The workroom of an artist is more than a church. Every element should be understood, simple and clean. If to take apart the design, it is made from several layers. Multilayering creates a depth of space, which

does not allow the presence of inspirational tenuity. Half of the house is bathed in the sun, another half is restful in semidarkness. These ephemeral feelings are more important than basic house functions. The project is based on aesthetial function, made out from the artistic functional need.

Beautiful canvases with artists’ souls inside are reflecting in the windows. It’s like a tiny vessel. Treasures of artists’ worlds this vessel keeps within its walls and makes them shine.
_1 The space of the gallery is a transformer: six moving panels can divide the room into two exhibition areas. Two different by style expisitions can be made at one time. _2 The paintings can be safely preserved in a «catalogue» that is easy to show. _3 Toilet, kitchen and a wardrobe are shifted to one side of the house, so that the maximum of space can be used as a gallery. _4 The amount of sliding panels - 9. Total length of panels - 13.5m, possibility for exhibition - 27m length and 2.35m height. _5 Total meters of walls for exhibitions - 13 m length and 2.3m height.
