COLOR S C H E M E
Stick to the basics When dressing for your photo shoot, you should look to these colors. Maintaining a consistent color scheme will create a coherent and professional look when creating our new website. This will also allow for additional branded material (postcards, brochures, etc.) to be on brand.
For our new website, we will be emphasizing coherent, professional, and in-color photos. These headshots will be more lifestyle photos. Each agent must have their own headshot.

LIFE STYLE
The goal is for you to stand out in your photo. Sticking to the color scheme and a background that makes you pop will give our photos some interest and variety.

TEAM
LIFE STYLE We want to photograph in a way that will suit each member of the team. Staying on a similar plane and from a wide angle allowing us to manipulate the photo depending on the marketing material will help our brand as well as your own!
BACKGROUND SUGGESTIONS
Locations We will be photographing at the Omni Louisville. This venue affords several backgrounds, allowing us variety and cohesion. You will be able to select your background for your headshot as well as your lifestyle photo. Following this shoot, you are welcome to take more photos here at a later date or use these spaces for inspiration for your next photos. We just ask that you are the focus of your shoot, not your background!

HOW TO
CROP
When using a new photographer, we ask that you have them send you wide-angle photos as well as your preferred crops. Having more blank and empty space helps our marketing and be able to do more with your photos.
While it shows the background, this photo does not leave much room for different crops and can make it difficult to use this photo for ads, postcards, brag sheets, and headshots.
This photo leaves the focus on the subject but also leaves lots of free space for content and cropping to fit the requested marketing material.
FREQUENTLY ASKED Can I still get updated lifestyle photos taken throughout the year? Yes, however, we ask that you stick to these guidelines when using a new photographer or having new photos taken in the future. We will be able to update your headshot, we just ask that you stick to our color scheme and background themes.
Do I have to use Anna May for later shoots? No, while we love Anna May's photography style, we acknowledge you may have your preferred photographers. For your next shoot, just bring this style guide to refer to. This is a GUIDE, not requirements for your photoshoots. if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask.
What should I request from my own Photographer? First, we want to make sure your preferred photographer gives you photos that have a lot of empty space. This allows marketing to be able to use your photos for more than one piece of marketing and in various styles. We also want to make sure your preferred photographer does not heavily face-tune or edit your photos. This can decrease your photo quality and make it more difficult to use these photos for a longer time. You're all beautiful, we don't need to edit you at all! Finally, make sure that your photographer's editing style is one that is bright and airy. While we love some different editing styles, sticking to a more natural edit will make you look more authentic and your photos instantly look higher quality.
