WE ARE A LEADER

I am proud to present Lenoir Community College’s 2020 Annual Report highlighting our students and our accomplishments for the past academic year. While this year has been challenging in the face of a pandemic, our faculty and staff have risen to the occasion by redesigning the way we deliver education and services to provide the best instruction and opportunities to our students and to the citizens that we serve in Lenoir, Greene, and Jones Counties.

I am privileged to lead an innovative team of faculty and staff who are reimaging the student experience by engaging our students, each other, and our community partners; investing in our students, employees, and facilities and achieving student success by creating a quality experience. LCC has a unique role in helping students fulfill their dreams of future employment. It is a role that all of us take seriously. This report shares only a few of the thousands of success stories that we are privileged to be a part of every day. Our students are our top priority, and as an institution we strive to offer the best opportunities and services available.

We are a leader for economic development in the area providing an educated workforce needed to attract and retain employers in our region. We are preparing the workforce not only for the job market of today, but also for the job market of the future. As a College, we are constantly evaluating and updating our programs and services to stay on the cutting edge of technology and to meet the needs of those we serve. We know that now is the time we are needed most.
