The poet Ted van Lieshout and illustrator Sieb Posthuma created three wonderful books filled with delectable rhymes. From Anchovies to Swine / Cookies! / Spider in Socks have been brought together for fans young and old.

Cheerful, nonsensical poems with surprising twists and more serious rhymes are perfectly complemented by the poetic illustrations of multiple Gouden Penseel award winner Sieb Posthuma, who died in 2014. His death is still felt as a great loss in the Dutch world of children’s’ books.

As an homage, Ted van Lieshout wrote a new poem, “The Little Illustrator”, for this collection.
